Flexcon COVID-19 Task Force

At Flexcon, we live by two guiding principles: (1) safeguard the well-being of our workforce; and (2) ensure business continuity for service to our customers.

With this in mind, we are monitoring the developments around COVID-19 very closely and can report the following:

Operations. We continue to operate within multiple manufacturing locations with redundant capacity, geographically dispersed. All of our locations are open and are able to operate at full capacity. Flexcon serves multiple segments of the critical infrastructures and is an essential business, as reflected in the Department of Homeland Security guidance. As such, we have continued to operate throughout the ongoing challenges presented to our industry.

Supply Chain. We are in regular contact with our suppliers and will continue to work with customers on a case-by-case basis as we identify disruption. We continue to experience sales controls from some our major suppliers. The ongoing pressures on the supply chain have resulted in the delay of certain materials, which have been shared with the customers impacted.

Flexcon COVID-19 Task Force

A task force continues to develop and refine contingency plans to mitigate supply disruption and ensure continuity of production and customer support functions.

  • Our customer and technical support staff are working remotely, along with other team members who have the ability to complete their work from home.
  • We continue to communicate regularly with our suppliers.
  • We have assembled sub-committees to address the ongoing challenges facing the industry.

We continue to monitor the CDC’s COVID-19 Community Levels data so that we can react accordingly should we need to adjust our restrictions to mitigate risk and keep our team members safe.
