Our Quality Policy is as Follows:

  • Quality is conformance to requirements in everything we do involving customers, co-workers, suppliers, community;
  • Quality leadership is our goal;
  • Customer satisfaction, along with increasing yield, productivity, and new product successes is our focus;
  • We will meet this standard through a process of setting objectives to achieve continuous improvement;
  • We will measure our success by the growth of profit and sales.

Company Vendor Survey:

We recognize that our customers are required to have vendor surveys completed and on file to satisfy ISO or other end user requirements. In an effort to streamline this process for our customers, FLEXcon has developed a standard survey addressing general information and the 8 principles in the ISO standard. You can easily access the most updated version of that website on our website as needed.

COMMITTED TO YOUR SUCCESS

Stacy Steffen, Leader, Quality SPCSG/Quality Engineering, NE

“The primary focus of the Quality group in Columbus is to test inline processes and outgoing material to ensure materials going out the door fall within specifications. If we’re coating everything within the spec, then the likelihood of a performance issue will be very small.

By making a good product every time, our customers can rely on us to maintain their flow of supply, and that’s good for all the stakeholders.
Stacy Steffen
There are occasions where we’ll see something change, and we must figure it out, adjust, and make improvements. This is a part of my job I truly enjoy – problem-solving where I must dig in – gather data to figure out what’s really going on vs. what folks might be speculating. I also love the diversity with so many different products.

Finally, I’m always learning. After 19 years with the company, I still get excited about learning something new – new processes, new ways of collecting, formatting and reading data - to understand what’s happening and ensure consistency for our customers. Then, I can go home satisfied and ready to take on my next home improvement project and coach youth baseball, which I’ve been doing since my kids were little. Watching the players progress from early in the season to the end when they really get it is a beautiful thing to behold!”
