Flexcon Expands House Vinyl Line for Improved Performance of Large-Format Graphics

Air Egress Liner Reduces Time and Cost Associated with Graphic Installation

Flexcon Company, Inc., an innovator in adhesive coating and laminating, announced today the expansion of its Flexlexcon® FLEXmark® line of house vinyls designed for wide-format advertising applications. The new products feature an embossed air egress liner which minimizes air entrapment behind the graphics, making installation easier.

“Flexcon’s 90 lb. air egress liner imparts a pattern into the adhesive that allows air to flow out behind the graphic, making it easier for installers to prevent air bubbles,” says Bekie Berg, Product Manager, FLEXcon. “Ease of installation is critical for installers, and Flexcon's air egress liner saves installers time and money by reducing air entrapment.”

The two new products in the FlexMark® line - WPAE and WRAE - are 3.5 mil flexible white vinyls with good opacity for covering existing graphics and good resistance to scuffing, tearing and abrasion. They utilize two of the company’s most popular adhesives, one permanent and the other removable. Both are excellent choices for large-format graphics on barricades, vending machines, counters, windows, walls and floors, and they adhere well to many surfaces, including ABS, acrylic, Formica®*, aluminum, stainless steel, HDPE, painted metal, styrene, painted non-vinyl wallboard and glass. The removable version offers clean removability for up to 180 days.

Products are available in 54” x 150’ pre-slit rolls that ship same day when ordered by 2 PM Monday – Friday in the time zone of the shipping location. They are also available from Quick-ship in 54” master rolls that can be custom finished to preferred roll or sheet sizes.
