Every FLEXcon product, whether it's a standard, off-the-shelf product or a customized, made-to-order specialty item, is made up of a number of elements which we describe as the FLEXcon "sandwich."

FLEXcon Sandwich

FLEXcon builds the best product for your application by working with you and carefully selecting the most appropriate facestock, adhesive, topcoat and liner to create a construction that meets the applications' specific requirements.

Film

The success with which you're able to match the gloss level of a glass container, the grain pattern of walnut, or the texture of cloth depends on the available range of film options. FLEXcon offers an extensive variety of films, with a wide range of color options, gloss levels and finishes to match or enhance the look of virtually any application.

Film options include:

Vinyl - rigid, flexible, hard, cling, extended- and premium-life
Polyester
Acrylic
Acetate
Polycarbonate
Polyethylene
Polypropylene
Polystyrene
Diacetate
Polyethylene Naphthalate (PEN)

Adhesive

With FLEXcon, you'll never be stuck with the wrong adhesive because FLEXcon offers a vast array of permanent, removable, repositionable and reworkable adhesives to meet the most demanding needs of both converters and end users. These needs include various levels of tack, peel, shear, and other adhesive properties, as well as qualities such as chemical, UV, heat and humidity resistance.

Topcoat

Topcoats function to improve ink adhesion to a film's surface. FLEXcon topcoats are compatible with conventional, UV, and water-based inks printed via screen, flexographic, letterpress, and offset.

We also offer topcoats that are compatible with the following variable information and digital printing methods:
Laser
Thermal Transfer
Color Thermal Transfer
Impact
Electrostatic Image Transfer
Inkjet
Digital Offset
Electron Beam

Liner

We offer sheet-form and roll-form release liners to meet the printing, diecutting, laminating, and label application requirements of the converting industry. Our process meets sheet-form converting needs for dimensional stability, diecutting, and superior layflat with a full range of high-quality clay coated and polycoated kraft release liners. We answer roll form converting challenges for liner smoothness, caliper control, and dispensing with a unique line of paper, paper/film, and clear film release liners.

Those are at least four good reasons why you should contact us today about your application. Whether you need a customized, or a standard Quick-Ship solution , we know how to match the right product construction to your needs.
