FLEXmount^® L-778/V-778 Adhesive for Permanent Bonding to TPO’s and other Low Surface Energy Plastics

When working with low surface energy materials, it is important to match the durability of manufactured goods with an adhesive that can meet the demanding requirements of the finished product. One of the challenges for bonding to low surface energy plastics, specifically thermoplastic polyolefins (TPO) is that they often require a pre-treatment for permanent adhesion. FLEXcon‘s FLEXmount^® L-778/V-778 permanently adheres to TPO surfaces without the use of preapplication primers or flame treatment, eliminating the need for a pretreatment. To form a permanent bond, L-778/V-778 requires only an IPA/water wash before application.
