FLEXcon places worker safety at the top of its priority list. FLEXcon’s outstanding commitment to on-the-job safety has been recognized by its certification as a Star worksite in OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), which assesses how well a company practices the four elements of VPP -- Management Leadership and Employee Involvement; Worksite Analysis; Hazard Prevention and Control; and Safety and Health Training. FLEXcon Spencer has been a participant in the VPP process since 1995, while FLEXcon's Nebraska facility followed suit and received VPP certification in 2003.

We reinforce both off-the-job and on-the-job safety awareness in multiple ways, from training to worksite hazard analysis to communications through use of “Toolbox Talks”, and group and individual recognition for safety performance.
